Lydia Deetz moves into a new house in the country per her father's orders for "peace and quiet"...only to find the house is haunted.
Lydia thought ghosts would be more..mean than the one that resides in her home. This one sits around, groans all day about how being dead is tiring, and loves to irritate Lydia. Even though she can't stand how annoying he is, Lydia can't help but feel sympathetic and loving towards him.
Connor Murphy doesn't know what happened to him. One day, he's alive and well..mostly, and the next, he's invisible, his family is gone, and he can't leave the house. Connor comes to the conclusion that he's dead..but from what? He doesn't know.
A family moves into his home without welcome and Connor tries everything he can to get them out but becomes friends with the youngest member, Lydia.
