Amanda Elene Wyatt's life was easy, go to school, go to work and do your chores. So simple and that was the problem, it was boring. She's read all the romance novels. She wanted to be swept off her feet and ride away on a white stallion . . . or at least something along those lines. And Alexander Van Stone was not what she had in mind. He was too confident and pigheaded for her taste. Not to mention he was a convict that gets escorted to class and dropped off in an armored van. Can he be caring like her heart wants to believe or is her twin, Asher, and her best friend, Amethyst, right about him being too violent for her?

Alexander Van Stone's life was never easy. Between Juvie, School, and the job they let him have, he was screwed. He'd seen the movies. He wanted the smoking hot girl he deserved. And Amanda Elene Wyatt was not it. She was too shy and stubborn for his taste. Not to mention she was a nerd and social outcast that was picked on daily by everyone. All in all, can he choose the little nerd that brings out the soft side in him or believe his best friend, Asher that he's too violent for her?
