Alpha Kai Silvius is the Alpha of the most powerful pack in the world.
Isabella Rose is in line to be the High priestess of the most powerful witch coven in the world.

Their homes are basically on opposite sides of the country. Isabella lives in Alaska. Kai lives in New Orleans.
Their chances of ever meeting are very slim.

However, once a year the Alpha King and Queen host a ball for all supernatural leaders and anyone who was both of age and unmated.
Kai doesn't like to attend the balls and hasn't since becoming Alpha but this year the King has requested his presence.
Isabella has attended them with her family since she was 16 hoping to find her mate.
