In 2020 a virus known as COVID - 19 wiped out 2% of humanity. After a cure was found, people thought that was the end of it. They were wrong.
Two years in 2022, a deadly more lethal virus appeared. The called it Armageddon - 01. It was lethal since it was airborne.
By the year, 68% of the population was wiped out. The world went into isolation to keep safe, but even that wasn't enough. By 2024 , 98% of the population was completely wiped out.
Those who survived became immune but another tragedy hit. One that ended the world as we know it.
River Perez was one of the survivors. Not only a survivor, but a test subject. One who escaped the lab a year after the outbreak and was now on the run. She was able to survive on her own for two years after she escaped. In the new world however, help is always a good thing to have, but a difficult thing to come by.
Dee Stewart has a cold heart. She rules the streets of her city with an iron fist. Three years ago, her best friend was taken away never to be seen again. With no parents or family, she was left all alone. After the outbreak, she gave up hope finding her. Until she finds someone else in an alleyway close to death and with no memory of her past.
These two find the family they need in each other. But when friends kiss, things can get complicated...

She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Should she call out or remain silent? Lockdown obliges two office workers to ask: where or what is home, when you have to stay there? * The setting is a fictional version of the UK's East Midlands region. * I know that many people are having a really shit time at the moment, so I hope this is a way of acknowledging the current situation without being too heavy-handed, and maybe even cheers someone up. Although there is a potentially quite serious situation described, I hope the light way it's treated doesn't offend anyone, or imply that I'm not taking it seriously. I've tried to stay very conscious of the public health advice, as it was in the UK at the period covered. This basically came down to: Stay At Home (if you possibly can).
