Shadow the hedgehog, one of G.U.N's best field Agents is forced to test out a prototype. The prototype is supposed to send the person either forward or backwards in time, something the Commander seems obsessed with.
However, something goes wrong and Shadow is teleported into an alternate Universe.
As Shadow tries to find a way back home, he is roped into a crazy adventure. And a romance he never thought could happen.

I know I already have a story with the same name but I decided to re-write it. It was about damn time too. So, If you haven't read the original one, then please don't. It's horrible and my goal is to try and make this one better. Same plot, just with more chapters and a more flushed out story.

You were one of the higher-ranking soldiers with G.U.N, due to your special abilities. Special abilities that came with being one of the last few dragon Mobians to exist. The Sonic gang is going on a trip to another place called Sycora City, a 2 day trip from Green Hills. Shadow is driving because why not. Sonic is next to him in the passenger seat, bugging Shadow while he drives. Amy is with Sticks, trying to teach her how to act more ladylike and to stop being paranoid. Silver and Blaze and snoozing in the middle seats of the van next to Amy and Sticks. Knuckles and Rouge are sitting in the back. Rouge is teasing Knuckles and Knuckles is annoyed, looking out the window and trying to ignore her. Shadow-rin and Tails are sitting next to them. Tails is sitting next to the window and sleeping. Shadow-rin is sitting next to him and has her headphones in, drawing in her sketchbook. Their road trip was meant to be a fun and enjoyable time to just hang out. But on the first night, they stop to stay over in a hotel in a secluded area. The place was practically empty, and they were the only people there apart from the owner, an old man. The place was dark and old, but the room they booked was more better kept, minus the dust. At night, Shadow-rin and Tails hear something, making them look around the dark halls in the middle of the night to investigate. The owner is hiding something, but they don't know what. And they don't want to find out.
