In an effort to recover the king, both Thor and Loki travel to earth in time to learn a startling revelation- Thor is not Odin's firstborn. That title belongs to Hela, the goddess of death, and she has returned to claim the nine realms, promising to drench all of creation in blood.
Meanwhile on earth, after being freed from prison following his defiance of the law, Dean Allen is a fugitive on the run. Determined to find Thor and aid him in his quest to prevent a cosmic threat, he embarks on a journey that will take him far from earth to the blood-soaked arenas of Sakaar and into a deadly clash of gods.
