A virus has swept the earth causing a global pandemic. Masks are required in public, social distancing is crucial; things are very, very different from how they used to be. But just when the virus starts to calm down things take a turn for the worse as a second stage commences. Stuck in a hotel from a ski trip, Karma learns that there is no precaution you can take to protect yourself from the second stage. It is either kill or be killed. But what does one do when they find themselves infected with the very virus that caused the apocalypse? After all, she's the only one who can save the sheep in the cellar.

"So this guy was put in prison because he was hacking into nuclear launch devices. And now he's free in Chicago. Where-according to you-there is a building which houses the last remaining remnant of the Smallpox?" Emily clarified. "The building itself doesn't host it. The computers could potentially command a lab here in the U.S. to release it somewhere in the world. I know exactly what he's doing, Emily," Caleb finished. Emily didn't ask how he knew. She just knew that if that disease was released again...there wouldn't be anyone left.

Sanctuary, de Ari_Faye

Sanctuary. That was what the quarantine dome was supposed to be, a place of refuge from the N-Gel and the deadly Neoplague they unleashed on the world. But we aren't safe here. Senna is uprooted from her rural life in the outer dome when her mother agrees to marry the President of Sanctuary. It was supposed to be a Cinderella story, but Senna can't stand the health and status obsessed city. Her only escape comes from repairing an antique piece of wireless tech, an endeavor that is seemingly hopeless due to the interference that reduced such tech useless after the invasion. Senna believes that if she can get the device to work, she can use it to contact the life she left behind. However, it isn't her old life she reaches when she gets the device to power on. Instead she catches the SOS of a little girl who claims to be held captive in the toxic world outside of the dome. The girl offers a reward for her rescue-the cure for the plague that forced humanity into quarantine and took Senna's father from her. The world in My Hero Academia has been flipped upside down when this disastrous event happened. With more reports of the incident, not just from Japan, but all over the world have reached a widespread epidemic. However, it has finally reached to it's breaking point and soon it became 'doomsday' all over the world. Inside the city, it was far from safe. People were either killed from the bites or from the riots. Ten years went by. The city's filled with blood thirsty zombies along with survivors who are just trying to get through it all one day at a time. Among many others inside the city was a 15 year old boy named Izuku Midoriya. In this AU, he will reach his breaking point and thought that all hope is lost, when he comes across a group of scouts who found him and brought him to the deep part of the forest where there are villages inside and away from the city. This AU will have most of the the characters from the show My Hero Academia and there will be some ships that I will include in the story, but before I can continue, I want to point out that I do not owe the show or the characters (other than a few of my OC's), I am just a fan who just wanted to write this AU for fun. But beware, this AU will be a bit graphic in details so you have been warned.

They will start to take over the countries so that they can rule the world. I childish thought it is to me. Only they would have the antidote to this. Of course, other people would try to make the antidote, but it would not work because the virus can mutate. It will keep changing. 'Can you imagine the world in that sort of state? No? well, I did, and it is a kind you would not like to live in. I had made their plan fail but they threatened that they would try again and that I will know when they would be about ready.' She took in a deep breath and continued, 'And the sign has come. Their sign last time was heavy raining in which a kid lost her parents. The kid was from a particular school. It rained heavy. A girl lost her parents. From the same particular school.'
