How could someone just disappear off the face of the planet with as much as no clues as to where they went? Blair Williams at the mere age of 12 disappeared out of thin air leaving her best friend Logan behind. Giving up all hope to seeing his best friend again, Logan returns to his everyday normal life, well as normal as it can get. Fast forward 5 years, Logan is now 17 and a senior in high school. He never knew what happened to the girl across the street. Never got a letter, a text or a call. She just disappeared. A new family moves into her old house, but what if the family isn't all that new. Oh no, Logan knows the girl very well, or at least he thought he did. . . . . . "Oh so you think now that your back you can ruin my life all over again? Take my only friend from me? Try to just waltz back into my life like nothing ever happened? Hmm Blair?" "L-logan it's n-not like that." "It's n-not like that?" Logan laughed as he mocked the girl in front of him. "I'm going to say this once, and only once. You are nothing. Nothing to me, nothing to that dead beat mother of yours, nothing to anyone, and you will never be. So when I tell you, you better stay out of my way you better damn listen. I will ruin your life just as you ruined mine. Do you understand me?" "Y-yes."

She thought he was perfect, but perfect doesn't exist. Alex had never been in love. Never been kissed. Never even held a boy's hand. So when Ben (the charming, confident, older man) swept into her life, it felt like fate. He said all the right things. Made her feel special. Claimed he was keeping her safe. At first, she believed him. When he checked her phone, it was because he cared. When he told her what to wear, it was because he loved her. When he got really angry, it was her fault, wasn't it? She should've known better. Shouldn't have talked to that guy. Should've texted back faster. Should've listened to him. Then the first slap came. Then the apologies, and promises it wouldn't happen again. But it did. It kept happening. Ben doesn't love Alex. He owns her. And she's learning, slowly and painfully, that love doesn't leave bruises. Love doesn't monitor your every move. Love doesn't isolate you from your friends and family, punish you for breathing the wrong way, or force you to beg for kindness that never lasts. But by the time she sees it for what it is, she's already trapped. And Ben doesn't plan to let her go. Not without a fight. ⚠️TW⚠️Domestic Violence ⚠️TW⚠️ Sexual Assault ⚠️TW⚠️ Emotional and Mental Abuse This is copyright so if you see anyone taking my book please help a girl out and let me know.
