"Why does he always sit alone?" Henry spoke quietly looking at the old man sitting by the rushing water. His ageing was becoming clear, as wrinkles covered his pale face, and the stubs and bits of hair he had left was gray. His clothes looked like they belonged to a time before Henry was even born, and he couldn't begin to understand how this man has been able to stay on his own for so long. "Maybe he likes being alone?" Charlotte's voice sounded beside him. They had been coworkers for a while now, and their relationship had evolved into becoming best friends. Neither had ever seen Mr. Denver socialize with anyone, however he had never voiced his loneliness. "Or perhaps he prefers the memories of the past to the experience of making new?" --- A story in which an old man can't let go of his past and tells his caretaker in order to warn him from doing the same mistake.

"I admit that I don't deserve you, but you know how greedy I am for you, I am selfish for you. Cause I never wanted to give up on you. I almost lost myself in you." "I love you! I love you more than anything! But.. if loving you is so wrong and, if you don't feel good.. then I'll stop being selfish." "Sorry for demanding you to stay longer. You knew it was wrong, and I made it more difficult. I loved you, but.. I was being selfish..." The rain had started to leave. He hugged her more tightly feeling nervous about what he was about to say next. "If we divorce now.. will I stop being a burden?" She didn't say anything but took off her ring and gave it on his hand. He nodded and pulled out the documents but she didn't let it go. "Don't even bother hesitating. I promise, your life will get easier." She nodded. He took them and signed. "You are finally free...!!" • • She has suffered enough. It still hurts but hide it inside.
