Twilight was prepared for any challenge.
That was what the pony's would say.
Until now.
The one she left behind.
The shadow she tried to forget.
And that shadow,
Was me.

Midnight Sparkle had been on her own for a while now. No pony would mess with her. She was like a shadow. Forgotten by the world. When her sister became a princess, Midnight finally snapped. The shadows consumed her and turned her to a monster. The only one who helped was Luna. When the shadows cleared, Midnight was an alicorn and was finally seen.

But not in a good way.
