Book 1: The Ghost
Payton a non-binary college student who lives in their home town; Madison Wisconsin, and has a job as a dishwasher for their aunt's coffee shop, Mera's coffeshop, gets a letter from their two childhood friends, Kuba and Noah, who will meet up with Payton at their job. Payton, Noah, Kuba, and Ace talk about their past and talk about what all happened at their middle school, they decided to visit that school to see if it was still standing, which it was just a bit crumbled, but when they visit the abandoned middle school, their past becomes the present.

I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them.
