dean winchester was never much of a romantic. a flirt, sure, but anything more than a one-night stand was too much of a commitment. his family would roam around the country, a new high school every few months, a new girl, a heart broken with his goodbye. he thought it would be like this forever, until he met castiel. now he has a reason to stay, now he has a reason to leave behind the life he had. with a fast-approaching move and a boy he loves dearly, dean must decide to stay or to pursue the only person he's ever loved.

He finds himself jealous and angry when he sees Cas with Luke, and at his brother's suggestion he decides to confront his true feelings for his best friend, and tell him how he really feels.
