Jasmine "Jaz" Dilan is a tattoo artist living in Newark and working in the Big Apple. Her days are spent doing what she loves, helping raise her niece, Rosamie, during the formidable teen years, and enjoying being single. Life is pretty good.
The good life comes to an abrupt halt when Rosamie is found dead in the bed of Annie Xun, her girlfriend. This horrible tragedy is enough to send Jaz back to the worst time in her life.
