He was a well known men, a typical men that got chased by women because of his attractive looks and money. He is like everyone else would imagine arrogant and self centered. The fact that both were forces into the marriage made it hart for the two completely different personalities to get along. Her calmness and self control drives him crazy, but also wakes his interest in her.
