Izumi Manami is a very happy go lucky girl. It's hard to ever see her with any other emotion but happy.  Especially for someone who only has two relatives. Her nephew and her cousin-in-law.

Her parents were killed when she was young, so she doesn't really remember them. Her brother and his wife sacrificed themselves to defeat a villain named Muscular.

Now, she lives on her own with her nephew, getting funds from her brother and his wife's will along from her cousin-in-law. 

As much as her nephew hates it, she's going to UA in the hero course for her water quirk.

But it's not so much the nerd being annoying it's this aqua girl. He can't understand why this annoying air-or should he say water-head is so attached to him.
