❝ What is the price that you pay to stay alive? I mean, we all pay one but what's yours?" I've asked as I watched the beautiful creature of red fade away. Spears pierced her body as men shouted in victory. Their fear slowly dissipates permitting greed and pride to proclaim them.
"What was the price?" I asked.
No one answered as they brought their trophy back home. It was an accomplishment for everyone concerned. The beast was gone and they were alive.
So, I asked again, "What was the price?"
And like before, No one answered. ❞
No one knows the extent of power. How far it can become you or control you. Some can command it, allowing it to pull and push like waves in the ocean while others get swallowed whole. But regardless, Ku-Aya refuses to let it be her.
