"Why'd you draw Snivellus in potions, James?" Sirius drawled, as he questioned the boy. No doubt, James has had a crush on Severus, yet didn't have the guts to tell him.
"Well, uh- He looked pretty ugly, and I wanted to frame it, so I drew it!" James quickly came up with a lie. Yes, padfoot was his best friend but he didn't want to go over and just say, "hey! I have a crush on the boy we've been picking on for 6 years!"

And have a much better chance at life whilst living up to his Marauder heritage. Everyone deserves a second chance
Sirius did something that he would never ever ever do, but he did it anyway. He broke Remus and his own heart, and as his world is slowly crumbling around him, he has to pick it all back up again single handed. After pulling "the prank" against Snape in his fifth year, he doesn't realize how much his actions would hurt Remus and he can't stop them until it's much too late to do anything about it.
