17 year old Shawn Jackson is your typical bad boy. Bad grades, bad personality and an even worse temper, but, he has a secret. His mother died in a car accident when he was 5 that he repeatedly blames himself for, but so does his father, who has continuously beaten Shawn since that fateful night.
17 year old Juliet Chase is your typical good girl. Great grades, great personality and a non existent temper, but she's curious about the bad boy who mysteriously has bruises when he's not supposed too and why he flinches away from the smallest amount of human contact.
One night, while walking home from the library, Juliet just so happens to find out the secret Shawn has kept since he was five.
What will happen when he finds out she knows? What will she do to protect the broken boy from anymore pain?
Follow Shawn and Juliet's story as they find each other and have a roller-coaster ride filled with laughs, tears, and maybe even love.
