London Sullivan has big dreams and even worse memories. She's spent a lifetime trying to forget about what happened, but she can't do it on her own, and isn't ready to let someone help her. NASCAR driver Mason Pelletier can have any woman he wants, but when he sees London, none of the other women matter. Although the chemistry between them is undeniable, now isn't a good time to be together. Mason has to convince her to trust him. Professing his love for her isn't enough. She wants him to have more than she can offer, and that breaks her heart. When she attempts the unthinkable, their lives are sent into a tailspin. She's forced to confront her past, and he's forced into a position he's never been in before, but he knows she's worth it. Follow their journey from heartache to heartbreak and ultimately the lives they were always meant to have if they put in the work.

"No! You don't walk away!" He stops me and turns me to face him. "Let go of me!" I snap back as I remove my wrist from his grasp. "What are you so damn afraid of?!" He yells. "You!" I finally admit. "I have never in my life felt this way about anybody. I have never even felt it from anyone. It fucking terrifies me and I know I sound crazy, but I don't know if I can accept this." I tell him while fighting back tears. "I'm terrified too. I don't know where we are going to be in five years, ten, or even fifty. But I do know I want to be with you. I don't want anybody else. I've never wanted someone so bad as much as I do you." He tells me as he holds my face and leans our foreheads touching. "I love you Evie."
