Life is tough in Carnik. Food is scarce, water, disgusting at best. Humans don't stand a chance on their own. They are slaves to the Earth. 
Humans under age 20 are shunned, kept in confinement or sent to the outer- regions. 

Scarlett is 16 sent to the outer-regions after her Uncle would no longer take care of her. She will face fears, obstacles, romance, danger, and much more, to find a home where it is safe, or at least survivable until she is older.All Rights Reserved
