Meet Lily Anderson.

Her life would easily be described as hell to others. She has read countless books on struggles in life, ones about dealing with depression, broken hearts, teen dramas, and abusive fathers, but none of them could match up to her life.

No, none of them describe what it's like to lose your best friend, not to mention your only friend to another state halfway across the country, falling down the deep spiral into depression, a father who is struggling to support his family, and a mother with an opiod addiction.
Right now, she wishes for nothing more than to disappear into a book, and maybe disappear altogether. She is sure there is no hope left for her, no way back up.
