Have you ever felt imprisoned in your own room? As if you cannot leave, as if you cannot move? Where the light fades and the picture starts to shift. The grey is blinding, I watch my world split. Have you ever been alone in a room crowded with chatter, bouncing off the walls, stabbing your scars? When your head slowly tilts and your love seeps away, remember you are not the reason no one will stay.

Medicine

Cutting open my heart to pour out how I feel. It comes down in floods of blood as words scatter on the floor in a jumbled mess or a pathetic attempt to explain my feelings. A book filled with all of my poetry. Enjoy the somewhat dark and somewhat light hearted rhyming poems that I have written.
