As Natsu and Lucy become friends, one of them finds out that they were childhood friends. One made a promise to the other. One of them left, not saying a word. The other became lonely, made a new friend, making a new promise, that won't be kept.
Lucy Heartfilia, known as Lucy Collymore, a 16-year-old Schoolgirl who kept her family's name hidden from the public. Only her best friends Levy, Gajeel, and Yukino know. After they found out, she asked if they wouldn't tell anyone. They kept there promise. Unfortunately, she soon then transferred to another school due to her father's business.

Heartfilia's are known as the first richest in Fiore. The Dragneel's stand second, the third is Fullbuster's, Strauss's in fourth and lastly, Vermillion's in fifth. Even though the Heartfilia's and Vermillion's are cousins, they didn't want to be in the top 3. However, they support and give information to each other.

One day Lucy and Natsu met accidentally and they have a conversion that made Natsu realize something important that he should notice earlier. Now Natsu don't know what he should do.
