King Henry has ruled over England for years and he has 3 children: Isabella, Anne and Edward. This is complicated by the fact the Isabella's mother isn't Henry's wife Matilda. Some think that due to her being the eldest and the fact that Isabella's mother claims that Isabella is a legitimate child that she should succeed the throne not Edward. When Henry dies, there is a power vacuum which leaves the kingdom in a unusual situation where no one knows what to do or who to serve, Isabella or Edward. To add to this uncertainty Princess Anne uses her popularity within the kingdom and armed with court rumours presses her claim that she is the rightful queen. 3 siblings share a blood tie but nothing else fight for what all of them see is their birthright. However whose desire for the throne will come to fruition and at what price will each sibling be willing to go to in order to ascend the the throne.
