The good are gone. The bad are in control. Nothing is right. Everything is chaos. It has been fifty years since The Great Shift and things are worse than before. Daemonium and his underlings run around destroying everything. Nothing is safe, especially a Grim Reaper's slave. Fifteen-year-old Mae Daecellium has been the slave of the Grim Reaper, Azeal, since she was five. She has been dreaming about freedom for as long as she can remember. But one day, she gets a chance at freedom and she grabs it by the horns. But is this really the best choice? Is this freedom actually free?
