***A sequel to Fright Fest 2016 Gold Winner RED RAIN***

  "May we meet again."
  -traditional Skaikru goodbye, The 100

  "I haven't told you everything."
  -Sophia, The Event

Red Rain was just the beginning.

Alex Snow thought he'd gotten over the death of his first love, Fionna Lee. Gideon Cabrera thought he would never see his abusive mother again after leaving her behind on Earth.

  Both of them thought wrong.

And meanwhile, agents of a totally different entity from the Red Rain team also have their sights set on Alex and his twin brother Gabe, believing them to be the key to saving the afterlife from a malevolent villain who seeks to destroy the Prime Universe.

(Second in the Red Rain series. Cover designed by @Whisperingwater.)

"I can't get enough! I can't even predict what is going to happen next. (WARNING: do not under any circumstances read the end of this while in a room full of people.)" @kirrencee

"The thing that I love about these books that they're not a cliche. Oh and Alex's taste in music is really great!" @DarcyStayne

"These should be legit novels...it's basically perfection wrapped up in an angelic (and demonic?) box." @Fever09

***FRIGHT FEST 2016 GOLD WINNER*** "There are two kinds of people who sit around thinking about how to kill other people: psychopaths and mystery writers." -Richard Castle "Don't make promises you can't keep, Mr. Parker." "Yeah, but those are the best kind." -"The Amazing Spider-Man" (2012) Heaven and Hell aren't above or below Earth. If you want to find them, you should be looking sideways. Teenage angel Alex Snow has a very weird life - his twin brother Gabe is a demon, he has few friends, he doesn't get out much, his tastes in pop culture are quirky at best...and one of his classmates has just been horribly murdered. Soon, more dead bodies start to pop up in town, and Alex and Gabe discover that the killer is someone to whom they are inextricably connected, despite having never met. (First in the Red Rain Series. Cover designed by @Whisperingwater.) Reader Reviews: "Technically sound, brilliant quality, full of intelligence with a dash of dark humour and a touch of science fiction." -Finn Arlett "It's escapist and I enjoyed every minute of reading it." -Gavin Hetherington "This captivated and intrigued me in many different ways...I personally haven't read anything similar to it." @kirrencee "You're a spinner, Ricky. A kick-butt weaver of tales with twists that only a non-novice could compose. Mad kudos..." -Michelle E. Hayes "I just sat on my bed for 2 hours straight in the night reading Red Rain until I finished it!!...It's so addictive." @Phoenix39736 "Amazing book! Can't wait to read the rest." @SarahJayneBrown

[Complete. Wattys 2023 Winner] The Redding takes you if it knows your name. That's the rule that's kept Meg alive --- or awake, rather --- since the night the world went to hell. Nobody knows where the red stuff came from, but it acts like water, it's in the water, and it falls as rain every night. The people it captures drop like puppets with their strings cut. They're asleep, not dead, and they can be reawoken. But then they just try to kill you. Meg and the other survivors she's befriended think they've found a stable equilibrium, six weeks after the catastrophe began. In an empty town, there's not much to do except innovate new survival methods. Meg's crush is the one to discover that Morse Code, like writing, is a safe means of communication. That's all fine and good until the nightly rain begins. Raindrops, as it turns out, can make dots and dashes, too. The Redding can talk. And it's telling her to run. ❖❖❖ Complete. Wattys 2023 Winner.
