It was a normal day in dreamswap when somethink strange happened nightmare started seeing a weird light when he goes to sleep and his negative aura has grown, dream has also realized his brother is somehow getting stronger.

What if someone from our world became dream on the first day they were made and were determined to not lose their brother to corruption like the original dream did in the story/game/movie? Even if they had to hurt the villagers to keep them away from nightmare they will. They will also protect nightmare, their brother from those who want to hit him. They won't be naive and hopeful like original dream. He would even pretend to be the guardian of negativity. He would rather kill the villagers then let then hurt his brother. Dream, being the oldest of his younger brother, Nightmare, -by a couple of months, but the same age none the less-, tries his best to keep Nightmare safe. Even though he tries, he sometimes can't get to him in time when he needs it most. Dream..my be afraid of Nightmare because of his condition. He notices the signs as well to and for those signs but he knows that something will happen to Nightmare that he might regret but Dream will still hold him..with a smile on his face. Sometimes the pain is so bad that it burns, and sometimes it feels like it's not there like a headache.
