Over You (Jonas Brothers Fanfic)

Hello everyone! This is my first ever story on here, although I've been writing fanfiction for years. I'll see how it does and then maybe I'll upload some more of my stories :)

Fair warning, the Jonas Brothers are in a band in this story, but they are not super famous. They are a popular band on the local scene.

"Maia," Joe said quietly.

"Joseph," I sighed, pulling a pair of Nick's sweatpants over my hips and rolling the top a few times so they wouldn't be as long on me.

"I'm sorry about what I said last night. I really didn't mean to suggest that-"

"That I'm a pathetic whore who would throw herself at any guy just to get your attention?"

"No, Maia, it's just... he's my brother."

"Yeah, and he's my best friend who I used to be really close with before you and I started dating. I stopped flirting with him when you and I were together, but now that I'm single, I can do whatever I want with whoever I want." I started stepping towards him. "It's none of your business who I flirt with, or even sleep with. You made sure of that when you broke up with me. You remember that, right? You broke up with me. So just worry about your new girlfriend, and stay out of my life."

Maia Llenas was the average girl until she met Nick Jonas. The two became fast friends before they were absolutely inseparable. Maia developed a crush on him, but was too nervous to say anything to him about it in case he didn't feel the same. That is, until Nick's older brother Joe asks her out and she starts dating him. Six months later she's left heartbroken by Joe when he breaks up with her, barely giving her a real reason why and leaving her to assume the worst. She goes out with Nick, her best friend, to get drunk and forget all of her issues with Joe, not expecting for that night out to change her and Nick's friendship.

Will it change for the better? Or will Maia be unable to forget about Joe?
