Nico just can't take it anymore. After experiencing a traumatic bullying episode, he decides it's enough, and commits suicide. Will tries to stop him, but is too late and gets to Nico only when he is already covered in blood, and try as he does, it's not enough to save Nico. His one true love. But dam, Aphrodite shipped those two hard! Maybe she could bring Nico back to Will. A few arguments with the other gods later, she manages to find a loophole - but she has to erase all Nico's memories.
I mean, no one will notice if she just leaves one, itty bitty important memory for Nico, right?

Everyone Deserves to be Happy (Solangelo)
Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line.
