Quinton Prep was a place where celebrities, socialites, millionaires and billionaires attended. It was a fight to the top, but at the peek of the rankings, was Maia Valentine. That was until she was betrayed by her very own kind, causing her to tumble down the stairs she so scarcely yet quickly climbed.

After returning three months later with no warning, she's come back with a bold red smirk and a devious scheme she intends on using against those she can no longer trust. Execution is all she wanted to do, and that she did. Chaos erupted in the school once she reunited with the elite of New York, her personal chess board.

Everything was in flames, the game has once again begun, and everyone knows no one wins against the Queen, especially if it's her own game.

Because now, checkmate doesn't end the game.
