Running away was something I was used to. The motherly wind swimming through my hair and the cheers of my pain begging to keep going. I could taste it. I could taste change. Something so foreign. Something is going to change- For better or for worse. After the death of my father, I was the most wanted for all the wrong reasons. A remorseful murderer, Amaeteur bodyguards, thug-like fighters, a furious fiance, a needy but lovable child, a hiding relative, a charming but cold lover or enemy or friend, a jealous rival. I'm not sure whether I liked it. But everything was still changing. For better or for...worse?

When the death of her father leaves an innocent woman vulnerable in the twisted war between two Mafias, will the Mafia who saves her turn out to be just like the rest or will he let her tame him? ~ It happened on the day her father died. It was meant to be a solemn day, a day to say goodbye, a day to reminisce the past and smile about fond memories - but it became the day she first experienced his ruthlessness. They were attacked by gunmen in black vans. The shootout destroyed a lot but she scaled through the ordeal unscathed. No sooner had they recovered from the shooting than she got a phone call from the Mafia himself. He told her with his gruff voice that made shivers run through her that he had taken her father's corpse. He knew, he just knew how much she loved her father, dead or alive. He knew how miserable it would make her not to be able to say goodbye. He agreed to release the corpse in exchange for something. And what was it he wanted in exchange? None other than her, Pamela King. ......... Warning! Contains the use of guns, violence, and strong language. Reader's discretion is advised.
