Madeline Severide. She's always wanted a family, someone who loves and protects her when she feels the most vulnerable. She's 15 and has no idea that her life is about to change forever. She runs away from home at the age of 14 and lives on the streets asking for money enough money to just buy a new pair of pants and shirt. She had to leave everything behind. Her birth mother, abused and starved her. Madeline, had to go to her local grocery store and ask the grocery store clerk to let her have something from the store as she was starving and just wanted to eat. That's what she had to deal with for 14 years. That's until she found out about her dad. Her dad, is a firefighter for the Chicago Fire Department. She goes and explains everything to him and she hopes that she can live happy and healthy with him. Will she be able to be happy and healthy with her dad or is everything that her mom said to her true about her dad. Find out in somethings don't change.
