July calls back May and August who were playing soccer near the water, when a huge wave started coming from the water.
"Shit."
July and I sprint towards them and scoop them up. I grab the closest one to me, which was May, while July picked up August. We run to the truck and throw them in. July gets in the front and stars the car. I throw all of our stuff in and hop in the back of the truck, watching the wave get closer and closer to the shore where it went past the 30 meter mark. The longest wave to ever be here had only ever gone to the 10 meter mark, the lake wasn't that big to begin with in the first place. As we drove away, a thick fog started spinning a little ways from the shore and a black arch started emerging from the water, forming an island raise.
I spent my whole life playing in this water and I know for a fact that there was never something like an underwater island here. Anxiety sprang in my chest , the island was like a foreshadowing event where you knew something was going to happen, and it wasn't going to be something good because that is how everything plays out in horror movies and world take-overs.

11:59 pm "5" "4" "3" They chanted counting down to the moment Ares will meet his mate. "2" "1" Sparks erupted in my heart making me gasp and fall onto my knees in shock of the unfamiliar feeling. Everyone in the ballroom turn to me before gasping in shock. A loud Beastly roar is heard through the air making everyone go silent. "Oh Shit!" Steven exclaimed next to me, his brown eyes going huge at the sight in front of me I look up to see Ares, he jumps off the stage and runs at me, the crowd splits in half leaving me in the middle where he can get to me easier "Gee thanks guys" I glare at everyone He quickly but gently picks me up into his strong arms slamming his soft pink lips onto mine. Fireworks.Sparks.Tingles. It's as if all of the evil memories or thoughts of him were washed away as I kissed him more. Like as if I was brainwashed, in a trance that I couldn't break out of. It was addicting like a drug, I had to have more. Then I remember who he was. What he has done to innocent people. My mate is a monster. I pull away in shock not believing what I just have done. It felt like I murdered someone just by kissing Him. This is wrong. I hate it. But, I love it. He looked at me with shock and hurt expression on his face The Alpha Ares actually has feelings? Here's a preview: I was awoken to a loud siren. I heard a loud pounding. “Vi?! Vi?!?! Are you there?!?!?!” I could barely hear him but I can tell that he was screaming at the top of his lungs. I got up and ran to the door and opened it. “Noah?! What the fuck is going on?!” I screamed. “I can’t hear you!!” He screamed back. The siren was too loud. I signed it out for him. He signed back that some wolfies broke into the camp. We ran to the kitchen and got some food and water. We stuffed it into our duffle bags. It seemed like it would last us about a month or so. We ran to the Hummer and we were off. I check my watch, it was 10 AM. I slept for a good 4 hours. I checked the rear view mirror to see if anyone was following. It was clear. “Who were they after?” I asked Noah, after 30 minutes of silence. I wasn’t looking at him but looking through the window. “Funny…. I was ready to bang on the wood again, but I flinched back when I heard the sound of moving rubble. Whoever it is was almost near where I was, and ... moving quickly. So, there's no possible way that it was a human. It would take hundreds do men to lift these boulders, but whoever this person is, is stronger than anyone I would kn- My thoughts froze as I watched something large wrap around the edges of the table, lifting it up; my eyes widening as I came face to face with the largest creature known to mankind.
