Can you possibly imagine twelve hours where you are constantly scared that you might be killed or hurt? As your adrenaline rushes every time you hear another scream or cry. This probably doesn't seem as scary as it would be, but it is much worse. This is what we call The Purge. For twelve hours, anything and everything is legal. You get to choose who you trust and who you believe won't lay a finger on you.
As for Evanna and Kiara, they are stuck in a condo with their friends. They think they are safe but what could possibly go on when all doors are locked and they are fully armed. Well much more then you could ever think expect, What could possibly happen throughout these hours?
