Kind of like fishing, it wasn't important, just a pastime. During the 1950s to the early 2000s, vampires didn't even exist, just a fantasy made up by desperate book writers and silly teenage girls who dreamed of sparkling pale men with a thirst for their blood. Now, however, in 2063, vampires practically rule the world. Their aren't a lot of them so to speak, but the ones that do exist are very powerful. Most of the presidents and other high powers are open vampires. Hell, even I work for one. I almost forgot to introduce myself. I'm Zero Kiryu, and I have a very big secret. Two really, one is that I absolutely hate vampires. Despise them, even. I'm one of those 'assholes' as they say, that patrol at night to keep rogues at bay.
