Aang and Fire Lord Zuko brought the people from the four nations together and founded the United Republic of Nations, with its capital being Republic City. After the death of Aang, a new Avatar had been reincarnated. A rebellious young woman from the Southern Water Tribe named Korra, as she does her best to bring peace and harmony to the world. Korra, the new Avatar of the world, has grown up happily in the Southern Water Tribe. Well, as happy as one can be with constant Avatar training. She may have had her best friend, Lemaya, Master Katara as one of her teachers, and her amazing parents to make everything worthwhile, but with still so much to learn about the ways of bending, she felt that it was time to explore new horizons. Now, she stands on the edge of a great adventure that will change her life and legacy as an Avatar forever. No pressure, right? Book One: Air [completed] Book Two: Spirits [completed] Book Three: Change [completed] Book Four: Balance [completed] This is also posted on ao3 with the @JinxingGinny as well, so if you prefer that format it is available. All credit towards the creators of The Legend of Korra for their characters, dialogue, and plot lines. I do take credit, though, for the new characters I introduced, the new dialogue I added, and the new plot lines that I gave already existing characters.

Mako, a detective at the police department in Republic City, who had been known to also be Avatar Korra's former ex-lover finds out that the Avatar has gone missing. As soon as he finds out he takes on the case of the missing avatar herself and sets out on a journey together with his former team avatar and everyone else he had been working with. (I did not come up with these characters, they are from the show The Legend Of Korra.) I originally wrote this on AO3 but I wanted to insert this story here too.
