So basically I just wanted to write an Envy x reader. Even though Brotherhood is a decade old now, and the story itself is nearly 20 years old. I noticed that the few Envy x reader stories on here were either very short, or haven't been updated in 3 years. (for some reason they were always in 2017?) but anyway I just wanted to write one for y'all who, like me, are desperate for a 100+ year old palm tree. Anyway let's see how this story goes.
This story is based on Brotherhood not the 2003 anime.

He reasoned that this must be someone telling him that nothing can help him now. He closed his eyes and accepted it all. The cold, the pain, the wind on his face, hell, even the migraine growing louder in his skull... But the sound of strong footsteps is not one he expected. For legal reasons that I personally don't understand, I have to reiterate that I do not own Yugioh or the characters, this is just for entertainment purposes only. This fan fiction is full of yaoi, which is Male on Male homosexual shit, so if you don't like it, then don't read it. My oc, Hunter Devlin, is a main character and the love interest to Roy Mustang. Hunter Devlin with a sad past and unfortunate life, no worries tho, things turn around, eventually. It's really really good, I'm just kidding, I can't actually tell if it's good or not, but I tell my ego that it is. A Slight Obsession
People often say things happen due to fate or destiny, others say it's just coincidence, while some claim it's due to someone, or something, causing it to happen. Until recently, Y/N just lived their life peacefully, moving every so often due to their parents work. They tried not to get attached to anyone so they wouldn't end up hurt, or hurting someone else once they move again. After meeting certain people though, will they have to move so often? Would they even be able to? ~~~ Alrighty, hello there readers! Not sure why you're here, but if you enjoy this story, then you got bad taste, ngl. Sorry not sorry. Anyways, I'm not 100% sure where I'm going with this story but eh. The updates will be extremely random, hope you're all are okay with that. I'm mostly going to go around the main storyline with... slight changes? I just hope I don't make it anymore confusing than it already is. QUICK NOTE PLEASE READ L will be slightly aged down, I don't feel comfortable writing Y/N as an 18 year old and L as a 24-25 year old with romantic feelings for said 18 year old. L will instead be 20 since that would work out better for the story. Near will not be a love interest, he will be more of a younger brother figure, and Mello will have more of an admiration for Y/N, like a kid crushing on a celebrity sorta thing. I'm gonna try and make this sorta slowburny, but with my writing style, I'm sure that won't be an issue. I'm also gonna try to keep this as gender neutral as possible, so please let me know if I've accidentally used the wrong pronouns or something throughout the story!!
