I was inspired to write this series primarily based on the Sha creatures from World of Warcraft. They are massive entities spawned from the death of a seven-headed Lovecraftian eldritch horror known as Y'Shaarj (Yah-Sha-Raj), with each of the seven heads coming to represent a negative emotion. I matched these negative feelings with the (closest) positive opposite feelings and wrote seven poems as a result. May you realize and accept the negative within you and choose to resist it.

Some of the least poetic poems you'll ever read, written by, you guessed it, me! These are some thoughts and feelings that I tried to put into words. I started writing poetry regularly back in January, so the poems in this book kind of tell the story of my life in 2018, since that's when I wrote them (except for the first seven poems, which I wrote in the summer of 2017, plus a few others that I indicate are old).
