The life of a sixteen-year-old, junior year student, Judy and her friends. Her atrocious past made her a kid dealing with existential angst from a very young age. She lived her whole life in fear, anxiety and pain.

An emotionless nerd to other students.
The quiet and smart one to the teachers.
But what is she actually?

From the book:
"...Life's main function is to get messed up otherwise it's all fiction," Iris smiled warmly at me. "There's no point in being surrounded by soothing lies. It'll be difficult at times as it's been for everyone..."

How can you look at me and pretend im someone you've never met? - Sombr Being the middle child in the Thornton family was an unusual experience for Iris, who always had a bemusing experience growing up. At the age of 18, Iris was already greatly accustomed to being overshadowed by her overachieving older brother Spoke, who grew to be popular within in the family circle because of his online activities. He was quite famous in the Minecraft world under the name SpokeIsHere which both irritated and fascinated Iris in equal measure. This fame had indeed been taken to a great height. School corridors were rampant with the latest discussions on Spoke's video uploads while classmates hurriedly brought up every opportunity to remind Iris of his successful achievements as to say relentless. "I watched this new video from Spoke last night!" With their expressions practically shrieking as they turned to her, as if she were the entry point of Spoke's adventures. To those students, it was a thrilling gust of excitement. But for Iris? Totally exhausting. The fact that people assumed she was related to him irked her, especially because it left her no escape from the overwhelming number of comparisons and unsolicited information spiralling in around his subscriber count. Even the extreme popularity her brother experienced on YouTube during the time of crossing a million subscribers exhausted her, as she sensed a need to be close to his accomplishments. She wants to understand her character beyond Spoke's attention. Love, some might say recklessly, made her focus on somebody in her brother's social circle - which made family, loyalty, and her heart's boundaries, all shrink.
