Ava west has been best friends with ally settman and lia castelli since kindergarten. In middle school she meets Noah, peter and the love of her life parker, since then the six have been inseparable and she hoped it would stay that way but not all wishes come true.

In their final year of senior year, each of them reveal their individual agendas to leave and start over in different states against the original plan of all of them starting college in Manhattan and when parker reveals he is going to leave and begin college in another country ava is shattered. In a bid to save their friendship and her relationship She comes up with one last adventure to bring them all together to remind them of how much they need and will miss each other hoping it would make them change their minds and stay together.

She allows her desperation cloud her judgement and the boat they are on has a terrible accident that changes their lives forever.
