Cora's Superhero Initiative Programme:

✕ It is not considered ridiculous to climb a tree in order to save next-doors cat - even if it is at three in the morning and you technically do not like said cat.

✕ It is also not ridiculous to name said cat as your sworn enemy. Arch-enemies come in all different shapes and sizes. Look at Dr Doofenshmirtz and Perry the Platypus. They're perfectly happy.

✕ Living by the quote "there are two kinds of evil people in this world: people who do evil stuff and people who see evil stuff being done and don't do anything about it" is not a silly way to live. It does not however justify punching your little brother's bully in the face (even if he deserved it).

✕ Taking out the bins definitely counts as a heroic act.

✕ As a wise woman once said: NO CAPES.

✕ Teaching a sexist a-hole that girls can like comics just as much as guys through a series of increasingly epic pranks designed to humiliate said sexist a-hole? Well, whoever said heroes couldn't fight dirty?

✕ If the opportunity to be super arises, take the initiative.

✕ Enlightening one half of an extremely attractive set of twins to the world of comic books and superheroes? Absolutely. She'd be the Professor X to his hopelessly confused younger mutant charge.

✕ Movie marathons, entering - and exiting - life-threatening escapades, pulling off an epic heist, overcoming their worst fears, and falling hopelessly in love, on top of ridding her sleepy town of evil, with aforementioned mutant charge?

I guess every superhero needs a sidekick.

WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

It's no secret that some people use their unique gifts to do good, and some use them to do evil. Your classic heroes and villains, if you will. But what about the middle people? The people born with powers, not the kinds that let you fly, or crush cars with your mind, or turn your enemies into puddles of goo before you, the ones that are not quite considered "super". What are they supposed to do? Their powers aren't strong enough to categorize them as hero or villain. Imagine Knife Man or Spoon Girl with the power to control cutlery, do you honestly think they would hold up in a fight against anyone else? Being a superhero without powers is hard enough, being a superhero with a useless super power is damn impossible. Andrew, Carter, and Heather knew that their unique abilities would be worthless if they made themselves full time heroes or villains. Instead, they use their "uselessness" to their advantage. The trio makes their living in their own respected fields, but they come together as the best band of thieves in the world. Nobody would ever suspect three seemingly innocent young adults of 45 high profile theft cases. There is nothing extraordinary about them after all, no crazy hair colors, no fire blasting out of their mouths. It's the perfect cover. When the group steals a valuable, but at the same time worthless, artifact from a museum in Tokyo, they find themselves caught in the crossfire between the National Superhero League and a new super villain on the rise. And since the heroes can't seem to be doing their one job right, the group steps out of the shadows and takes matters into their own hands.

(Y/N) moved to Gotham to give herself and her son Eilis a fresh start. Sure, people thought she was crazy for leaving Metropolis for a crime run city, but she had her reasons. While she had hoped to meet with the Big Bad Bat, she wasn't expecting to also befriend the multimillionaire playboy and his children, the Waynes. Not to mention tons of other heroes, villains, and people in between. Without realizing it, (Y/N)'s slowly begun her ascent to the top of the food chain. Somehow becoming the most influential person in Gotham. And all she wanted to do was thank Batman for saving her life a few years back. "I thought I would crumble under the weight of the world, but Bruce carried the sky without ever saying a word. He was my Atlas." Also if u question their age, just don't. Whatever age you want to image him is fine because I image him at like 30 to 35 but he would probably be more like 40s. And the same for (y/n) because she's like 25 to 30 in my head. So don't think about it to much 😘
