Jake is a boy. So is Luke. That's normal. But the situation they're in isn't. They're in another dimension. With a princess, a robot, tiny elephants, a giant flying worm, a loaded mole, and then some. There's also this strange creature of complete abomination that nobody understands. Luke's best guess is that it's a medium-sized hand with crab legs that's on fire wearing a top hat that's also on fire, but that's about it. They go on not-so-normal adventures that should take them hours but only take like 10 minutes to read, so check it out sometime.

She always wanted to be a writer, so she is going to college for writing. But her young English Writing Professor Mr. Young is this tall, very attractive older guy with dark hair and muscles. He looks to be about in the late 20s when Emily is 18. Mr. Young show her some interest. One thing lead to another and they spend a lot of time together. Emily finds out who her Professor really is. He also has a dark past. (His dad killed himself and mom took pills and died) Things happen between Emily and Asher. But hes had relationships with his students in his past. Emily doesn't know. Will Emily find out who killed her parents? And what dark past Asher has?
Going Your Own Way, but with Magic
Being 16 sucks. Being 16 and running away after you burn down a library with flames you shoot from your hands, trying to carve out a place in the world for yourself while understanding this strange curse double sucks. Getting interrupted from figuring out magic completely on your own by an evil witch with plans to take over the world by doing *extremely* gross things to dead bodies triple sucks. Add in a pet mouse, a hot boy who shows up halfway through and amounts of emotional suppression never before known to mankind and you get a rough approximation of Max's life.Complete

This is (or should be) the mostly men main cast version. There's also a mostly women main cast version. Throughout this series, six characters develop their powers and their relationships with friends, with siblings and with romantic and sexual partners. They travel through time and to alternate dimensions both by accident due to a lack of control over their powers and intentionally due to being summoned to help save their world or a time line. The series is light and the individual novellas can be read on their own in terms of the story itself. I try to recap any important relationship stuff that isn't clear and anything relating to previous novellas (I may have missed 1 or 2 things but I tried).Complete

Jake was just a normal teenage boy. Normal problems, normal friends, even a normal school bully. Until the dream. Jake has been having nightmares for several weeks now. Always very similar.
