In a world were not only humans are born with supernatural abilities, but are also born with a soul number, people feel like they're lucky to be born in that generation. Sure enough most people feel lucky when their soul number appears. You get to know how much time you have left and you also get to have a way of finding the person that is 100% right for you, that you know will never ever betray you and that you will grow old and have kids together. Others though.. just aren't as lucky. 

Young Bakugou Katsuki is one of those miserable people. He didn't ask for everything that happened, and if he could wish for everything to go back to the day before he turned 16, he would without hesitation. This world is unfair, and filled with betrayal and lies. Yet, we all have that one person that helps us go on, to keep going despite all the wrongs the world has done to us. But... yet again... not all of us get to have that special anchor.
