In 2664, a known coding scientist and his anonymous partner introduced three new Androids to the public. Not even a year into owning the robot, death began accruing around the newly released creations. Law could not keep up to regulate the destructive Androids so they were recalled. Like most disasters, it starts with the stubborn idiot unwilling to comply. This results in a Battledroid deviating and infecting other uncollected Androids as they begin uprising by 2666.

Angelina is one of the survivors of this mass genocide of human life. She moved from each hideout with only a matter leather satchel carrying her only prized possessions after discovering her family had been slaughtered by the bloodthirsty Androids. Angelina's resentment for the scrap metal consumed her once cheery smile. She wouldn't hesitate to kill the Androids when given the chance but what happened when one of these Androids bares a striking resemblance to her late husband? Her heart can't handle the thought of killing it. To satisfy her guilt for failing to save her family, she decides to repair the robot that begged her to live.

Brain damage can drastically change a person. It can turn a kind, outgoing human being, into an rude, arrogant jerk. But can this happen to an artificial intelligence? Can a robot designed to be passive, get so damaged it develops violent tendencies? Mephone does his best to appease Cobs, but it seems his best is never enough. Everything he does brings nothing but disappointment. Usually the punishments for his mediocrity are relatively tame. But one day, in a drunk fit of rage, Cobs goes too far. And the result? Mephone finds himself battling overwhelming, violent desires he's never had before. Overtime they only become more and more irresistible. He struggles not to act on them, but he's only so strong.
