Mute

Amira Ahmed goes to Riverside High, and has two best friends, Olivia and Rahma who are always there for her no matter what. But when the teacher announces a midterm project, and assigns Amira to work with a mute boy, Amira is lost on how to work with this mysterious but kind boy.

Diego Ramirez is a Latino whose parents are Puerto Rican and Cuban, and is mute. He can hear, but can't speak. He doesn't have many friends. He's good looking, but isn't befriended because of his disability. However, when Amira comes in the picture, things don't seem so bad after all.
