*ON HIATUS, HOPEFULLY BACK SOON* ABSTRACT This is not a novel. It's a scientific case study about love. INTRODUCTION Georgie Sylvain likes lists (keeps life orderly and in control, yes?), and after she broke up for the first time at thirteen, she made a new one: "Things Required in a Boyfriend." Now starting her sophomore year in college as a chem/phys double major, the list has expanded. METHODS When her lab partner Logan asks her out, Georgie decides to test her hypothesis - can she find true love by following her list perfectly and not settling? Logan seems to fit... pretty well actually. RESULTS/DISCUSSION But college isn't just about finding love - there's exams to study for, lab reports to write, and on top of it all, Georgie has her eye set on a research position with the top theoretical physicist at the university. And the Boyfriend List might not be as foolproof as Georgie originally thought. CONCLUSION Love and college make a complicated combination!
