Monster In The Orange Fields

Hard working Solei and her family, work day after day in the fields picking oranges and harvesting crops. Solei craves for change and freedom from the head master of the village who keeps the workers oppressed in the fields. Not knowing who she really is Solei tries to remember an unknown past.

Adrion is a territorial beast hardened by the mistreatment of love. One day he is called upon the people of the village and the two meet for the very first time. However trouble begins to stir in the back ground. Only Adrion and Solei can stop it.

"Sit." He spat. I didn't see anywhere to sit so I decided to sit on the step. But he didn't accept that. With a grunt he pulled me over and sat me on his lap. His hand graced my back gently and I can't explain how cold his hands were. I shivered.
"You-you wanted to s-s-see me sir?" I sputtered like a fool.
"Yes. Tell me who you are. The priestess refused to tell me."
"Priestess Taanda?" I asked.He didn't respond.
"My name is Solei."
"Like the sun." He connected.
"Y-yes."
"Are you scared?" He asked next.
"Very." I bit my bottom lip.
"Good." He smiled showing me his white teeth.
"Last name?" He queried.
"Moro. Solei Johanna Moro." I said with confidence.
"Did you love him?" He growled and all of a sudden his light touch became harsh.
"N-no." I answered knowing who he is referring to.
