Three Sides, One Demise

Corruption.
It's unpredictable. There's no telling what it'll do. It can give you great strength, or it can kill you. One thing's for sure, it only seeks to destroy the pure.
Corruption never truly leaves, and if whatever is holding it back no longer serves its purpose, it will come back. It will posses your being once more and you will be the same Corrupt that you used to be. There's no telling what it'll do to you once it has control, and your Pure self can only watch as your Corrupt counterpart annihilates anything in its path.
That's what happened to me.
A drop of Corruption then it was all over. I thought I was safe. I thought I'd never have to fight off the Corruption inside of me again. But I was so, so, wrong. A simple wrong turn and the purity keeping it away was shattered like glass. Now, I'm only a spectator in my own downfall. I'm stuck in somebody else's body with no way out. There's no escaping his wraith. There's no way to help me. Everyone I love can only watch, just as I can, as his reign of destruction spreads like wildfire.
This is my demise.
