While Shoto seems like a calm, serious and composed person, when you get to know him, he's actually quite soft on the inside. However, what's beyond all the act? Sure, once you get to know him, he isn't all that bad. But true feelings cannot be shared with another.

Shoto struggles with his life, and after all the pain and depression, he gets infected with the Hanahaki disease. A disease that slowly ends ones life, by making the human vomit flowers and their petals. Slowly, the flowers fill the humans lungs, killing them, the flowers thorns also rip apart the throat. The disease is caused by someone loving another person, but the other person not loving them back.

But why does Shoto have it? That's one of his secrets. Shoto has liked Bakugou for a while now, he just never wanted to admit it. And now he knows Bakugou's true feelings about him, which is slowly tearing him apart on the inside.. and outside.
