In this world, anyone whose birth color is yellow gets killed. Usually by the greens. Very few yellows have the ability to mimic the green's color or scent. When a green is around a yellow they can sense it usually by their blood, but the mimicries which mimicked the green's smell made it hard for the greens.
You might think that all the greens were happy with killing yellows. This time it was not the case. Most greens hated killing, but it was practiced that much that it was basically in their blood. Greens and Yellows could get married, but the greens would end up killing the yellows sooner or later. Wait, then how did some yellow's have the ability to mimic the greens blood?...
Happiness for yellows are almost impossible. War occurred, the yellows won, well the ones who could mimic won. They was a legends. Let's just say that they brought Yellow's and Green's together as one. Let's just say that they figured out a way to stop all the killing. Of course not all since evil greens were still alive.
The evil greens continued to kill. Didn't the yellow's population go down? Nope! The greens had the ability to turn a yellow into a green, so the greens who married the yellow had the opportunity to save their one and only lover. Some did for love. Others didn't for power.
Emily Chanbers was a yellow. Her best friend Jack Donelly was a green. It was uncommon for a yellow and a green to be friends. When they were both told their birth color, you may think that that stopped them from being best friends. No! Emily and Jack trusted each other with everything. They told each other all their secrets. Until, one day, Emily told Jack a secret that was bound to ruin their relationship. Jack knew this was going to happen.
Let's just say, Jack intended for this to happen...

Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.

She wasn't born with her white hair, it turned white from the torture and stress her father put her through. Her eyes were different. She was born with large, blood red eyes. Of course no one knew that she hadn't been born with white hair, not even the boy she was basically dating, except a boy little older than her named Lawliet. He was like a brother to her. Lawliet was given a caretaker named Watari and Skye, one named Yamato. She lived her life as normal as she could and climbed the ranks as a detective; even surpassing L, though she didn't know who he actually was. As it's well knows, shinigami liked to gamble to entertain themselves. The king himself gambled his own life and power on her and a few years before she went into Wammy's. The king bet his that she wouldn't risk her life to save a stranger and used his death note to put her in a situation that she could save a child's life by risking her own or continue walking and not give them a second glance. She saved the child and gained his death note, the shinigami eyes, healing and self-healing, the power to bring back to dead, and knowing whenever someone has been killed using a death note. She had not to try draw attention to herself, since others couldn't see the shinigami she talked to. As the shinigami queen it was hard to be normal. She traveled for cases and decided to dye her hair inky purple when she was in America. She returned to Japan to go to school and observe the Kira case.Complete
